TRAINING
AND SERVICES

We provide training opportunities to enhance research capacity through the transfer of technical and scientific knowledge. Additionally, we offer various services, including medical care and tests for the diagnosis of dengue, syphilis, tuberculosis, and Covid-19. We also operate a Biological Resources Center.

Special programs

With the support of the Special Program for Training and Research in Tropical Diseases (TDR) of the World Health Organization (WHO), we serve as: the Regional Training Center for Latin America and the Caribbean, and as a regional node for TDR Global and the Social Innovation in Health Initiative (SIHI).
