OUR PURPOSE
The CIEIH is the body responsible for ensuring the dignity, rights, safety, and well-being of all human subjects participating in health research, encompassing researchers and all personnel involved in a research project.
Responsible conduct in research embodies the integrity and commitment of researchers to adhere to general principles and standards of good practice in research, both nationally and internationally.
To achieve this, we enhance the Research Quality and Scientific Integrity Program, a comprehensive strategy that integrates Institutional Ethics Committees (human and animal) and aligns the Quality Management System with research processes. This is accomplished through policy design, improvement plans, and the implementation of monitoring, support, and continuing education activities to ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices requirements.
Objectives
- Guaranteeing the respect and protection of research participants, including patients, researchers, research assistants, research technicians, and administrative personnel at the research center, among others, who are directly or indirectly involved in the process.
- Ensuring the quality and reliability of research data and results.
