Podcast miniseries: Mentoring as a tool for professional development and strengthening health research networks

In recognition of the importance of mentoring in health research, we created this podcast series to promote mentoring and provide tools to encourage it among our community of researchers, organizations, and institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean. This podcast is based on knowledge acquired in the TDR Mentoring Program led by Antoinette Oglethorpe (https://www.antoinetteoglethorpe.com/) and supported by the Special Program for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR).

Production: CIDEIM – Regional Training Center (LAC-RTC) and TDR Global Node for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Exploring IR Toolkit

TDR developed the IR Toolkit to promote a deeper understanding of implementation research. It is designed to help researchers carry out an IR project through a standard process that can produce comparable results across regions and countries.

This series of images summarizes the key points of each module of the Toolkit in Spanish to facilitate its dissemination among the Latin American and Caribbean community.

“TDR will continue to support activities that focus on research that improves our understanding of how health interventions are implemented in real-life situations. High-quality research evidence is essential to make sure that new interventions can be introduced effectively and safely, and proven interventions can be scaled up and deployed to their full potential”. TDR Strategy 2024-2029.
