The course “Theory and Practice of Good Clinical Practices” is a learning tool that aims to raise awareness of the importance of knowing and applying Good Clinical Practices (GCP): one of the international standards implemented to guarantee the protection of human subjects participating in clinical trials and to ensure the quality and reliability of the results obtained in research. This course is offered in collaboration with the Universidad del Valle (Col).
The learning model implemented combines virtual, interactive and face-to-face tools. In addition, the course consists of three modules. The first module is dedicated to the community in general and includes the Colombian regulations issued by INVIMA. Each module has a self-study component and a facilitator component, accompanied by workshops, case studies, discussion forums and evaluations.
