Profesor retirado de la Universidad de Tulane. Participó en proyectos de investigación en CIDEIM entre 1965 y 1967.
“What I most remember about my experience at CIDEIM is that our team, including Colombians and United States citizens, discovered Onchocerciasis in Colombia for the first time.
I also remember my travel to Peru and Ecuador with Dr. Antonio D’Alessandro to investigate the human cases of Paragonimiasis there, to see if they were related to the Paragonimus species I had found in opossums in the Cali area.
Working at CIDEIM added to my field experience and I had the chance to study a variety of parasites and parasitic infections that I would not have been able to study in Lousiana or the USA”.
