From the research promotion and development unit, I´m leading the Implementation Research program which seeks to strengthen this area of research as a strategy to identify barriers and propose solutions to problems related to the implementation of effective interventions and programs for the management and control of infectious diseases of poverty in Latin America and the Caribbean. I also support the institutional monitoring and evaluation program, to measure the management and results of our training strategies.

Additionally, within the framework of the Social innovation in health  initiative (SIHI) and together, with the Latin America  Hub team for social innovation in health, I work to promote community based initiatives aiming to solve health problems, and to strengthen capacities in this area of research at the institutional, national and regional level.
